Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
By using EFT to cope with physical problem, you are releasing the emotional memories associated with the symptom. Once those memories don’t hurt anymore, the stress response is reduced, and your body has a chance to heal.
When you practice EFT, you'll measure the intensity of your emotions associated with a traumatic memory, then pair that memory with a statement of self-acceptance to re-condition your brain with a positive association in order to eliminate the body's stress response.
